DATA PROTECTION.

The protection of personal data and the responsible handling of information that you entrust to us is an important and special concern for us. We only process personal data in accordance with the statutory regulations. These are, in particular, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). This privacy policy provides you with information on how, to what extent and for what purposes we process personal data.

Controller and data protection officer

The controller within the meaning of data protection law is Promodoro GmbH.

We are not obliged to appoint a data protection officer. However, you are welcome to send questions about data protection to datenschutz@promo-doro.de at any time.

Visiting our website

The use of this website requires the processing of personal data to the extent described here in section 2.1. In addition, personal data is processed in the cases described in sections 2.2. and 2.3.

Data processing to enable the use of the website

Usage data includes your IP address and data about the start, end and purpose of your use of the website and, if applicable, identification data. This also includes technical data transmitted by your browser, such as browser type / browser version, the previously visited website (referrer URL), monitor resolution, operating system, device information (e.g. device type), etc. We process this data for the provision and needs-based design of this website in our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR). If you would like detailed information on the balancing of interests, please contact one of the addresses listed under point 1.

Contacting

We process your personal data when you contact us via the email addresses or telephone numbers provided.

We store your data in order to respond to your inquiry. If you personally have a contractual relationship with us or are interested in our services, the legal basis for processing is the fulfillment of a contract or the implementation of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR). Otherwise, the legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in processing your request or communication (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Google Maps

There is a plugin on the contact form page that shows a map from Google Maps. Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps in order to visualize geographical information. Using this service will show you our location and make it easier for you to find us.

For this purpose, a connection is established between your browser and the Google servers - just as if you were visiting the Google search engine website. There is no tracking by Google on our website.

If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google when using Google Maps, you also have the option of completely deactivating the Google Maps web service by switching off the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps and thus also the map display on this website can then not be used.

Further information on the use of Google Maps can be found in the Google Maps terms of use. For information on data protection at Google, please refer to Google's privacy policy.

The legal basis for this data processing is our legitimate interest in the needs-based design of this website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Transmission to third parties

We only transfer personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the provision of our services or is required by law in this context. Within the scope of the purposes mentioned here, personal data is forwarded to service providers who work for us and support us in particular in the provision of services. In addition to their legal obligation to comply with all data protection regulations, these service providers are bound by further contractual data protection requirements. In particular, this includes an obligation as a processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

In particular, we pass on personal data to the following categories of service providers

  • Accounting, financial institutions, tax and legal advice

  • IT service and infrastructure, e.g. for the application process

  • IT support and maintenance

  • Data destruction and facility service

Otherwise, we only transfer personal data to other recipients if we have legal permission to do so or if you have given your prior consent. You can revoke any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. We only pass on your data to government agencies within the scope of legal obligations or on the basis of an official order or court decision and only insofar as this is permitted under data protection law.

Transmission to countries outside the EU

If necessary for our purposes, we may also transfer your data to recipients outside the EU. We only do this within the framework of the data protection requirements for transfers to third countries if it is ensured that the recipient of the data guarantees an adequate level of data protection within the meaning of Chapter V of the GDPR and no other interests worthy of protection speak against the data transfer.

Deletion

We delete your personal data as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected and processed and insofar as there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary. Statutory retention periods of six or ten years may apply to messages with business content, in particular under German tax and commercial law.

Data security

We have taken the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data provided by you against loss, manipulation and unauthorized access. Our employees are obliged to handle personal data confidentially and are trained accordingly. Both internal and external audits ensure compliance with all our data protection-relevant processes.

Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed by us and, where that is the case, the right to access this personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR), the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and the right to restriction (blocking) of your data (Art. 18 GDPR).

In addition, in the case of processing on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or f GDPR, you can object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR), whereby you must provide a special reason, except in the case of direct advertising. If you have provided this data, you can request the transfer of the data (Art. 20 GDPR). Whether and to what extent these rights exist in individual cases and under what conditions they apply is laid down by law in the aforementioned standards. If the processing is based on consent within the meaning of Art. 6 sentence 1 para. 1 lit. a or Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR). You also have the right to contact the data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

If you have any questions or complaints about data protection with us, we recommend that you first contact us directly (contact details in section 1).

No automated decision in individual cases

We do not use your personal data for automated individual decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 (1) GDPR.

Changes to the privacy policy

New legal requirements, business decisions or technical developments may require changes to our privacy policy. The privacy policy will then be adapted accordingly. You will always find the latest version on our website.
